About J. David Kerce:
Mr. Kerce is a native of Florida, born in Lakeland in 1965. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Minor in International Studies from the University of South Florida in 1988. He attended the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated in the top 12 % of his class in 1991. While at Cumberland, Mr. Kerce was a member of the Cumberland Law Review and the Trial Advocacy Board. Mr. Kerce is married to his lovely wife, Anne-Marie, and they have three children, Zac, Spencer, and Grant. He has resided and has practiced law in Daytona since graduating from law school.



Experience and Qualifications:
Employment Experience: Upon graduation Mr. Kerce was employed at a local Daytona Beach Law firm which predominantly represented insurance companies such as Allstate and State Farm. After three years of practice, he was employed by a local practitioner who represented claimants in personal injury and insurance claims, as well as a limited focus on criminal defense. Since 1996, Mr. Kerce has maintained his own practice.


Trial Experience:

Trial Experience: Mr. Kerce has trial experience as both a lawyer defending the insurance companies and as a lawyer representing the injured party. Mr. Kerce has been involved in trials involving motor vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and falls, bar room brawls, as well as claims of defamation, malicious prosecution and wrongful denial of insurance benefits. In his criminal defense practice, Mr. Kerce has tried cases involving principle to armed robbery, odometer fraud, cruelty to animals, DUI, reckless driving and petty theft.
